We, the staff of Johnson Park School, will work to the best of our ability to help each child reach his/her educational and individual potential. We will encourage parents to become involved in their child’s education through home and school cooperation. We strive to provide a positive, supportive, and learning environment.

The entire staff at Johnson Park Elementary School is dedicated to student achievement as well as the social and emotional development of our students.
 
At Johnson Park, we seek to create a Professional Learning Community (PLC) for all students, staff and families. Positive relationships are built on respect, equality and collaboration for the benefit of all stakeholders. Our goal at Johnson Park is to ensure that all students are safe, happy and healthy so that they can reach their full potential and be productive members of society.
 
In addition to being committed to student success, we at Johnson Park Elementary are committed to make communication and parent involvement a priority. Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled providing time for two-way communication between parents and teachers. Monthly ELAC meetings are held and well-attended by our English Learner parents or what we like to call H2B (halfway to bilingual) students’ parents. We also invite and encourage parents to attend our Annual Title I Meeting and School Site Councils Meetings.
